Contour Line/Continuous Line/Blind Contour
“Intense, slow inspection of the subject, a careful examination of the parts” (Sale, Betti, 26). With blind contour, there should be no looking at the paper, just focusing on following the lines with your hand as your eye slowly moves around the subject. Continuous line drawing involves not lifting your implement off the page and draw through the forms as though they are transparent.
